Ugh. I am really struggling today. It is what I call a “working from bed” day. Since I already work at home, this means I’ve downgraded from yoga pants to men’s basketball pants. However, I can still consider it working because I am catching up on e-mails and I’m wearing a bra.
But I’m getting ahead of myself! Let’s get back to how I ended up in this state…well, performers got free drinks.
So I had to get warmed up…
And I had to celebrate being done…
And I had to go out with my friends after the show…
Days like this are approx 70 percent sleep deprivation and 30 percent hangover. Why does my body wake up at 6 AM and refuse to nap?! Why why why???
When I opened my fridge for breakfast this morning, I really wondered if a DiGiorno 200 Calorie Pizza was a legit breakfast. (The answer: yes, on occasion. But I had a homemade McMuffin and fruit instead. Homemade because I did not bone but also because it was actually a super healthy breakfast that sounded tolerable.)
I survived breakfast but the universe is testing me. Right now, I’m having a mental Ultimate Smackdown.
I am bound and determined that the bikini and the Core Fusion Challenge is going to win this round, but it’s not going to be easy. I seriously want to bury myself in lo mein right now, but I’m going to attempt to make a healthy alternative “fried” rice with some Honest Tea in the meantime.
