These are also good ideas to hang onto for Father’s Day if you buy into the “stereotypical thing dads like” mentality. But really, I think you should buy them for yourself, because, despite ads telling you otherwise, grilling has nothing to do with having a peen.

I lovelovelove to grill! I just grilled up some amazing chicken last night. I’m definitely the “grill queen” in my family! even my Dad requests I do all the grilling because I do it better than he does (or so he says!). I’ve had so many moments with female friends where I get upset about their views on grilling. I know, chill right? but they always doubt my ability to a) light a bbq and b) grill food properly. NONE of them grill at all and ALL of them 100% agree it is something only men can do. @#$%^&*( they’ll make blatant comments like “oh well as long as there’s a guy outside the food’ll be fine” as if a girl cannot possibly GRILL FOOD or LIGHT A GRILL on her own or “that’s a mans job” oh hey, 1950, excuse me I guess I’ll just go look after Junior and bake some pies while the men do what men do outside #$^&*(
