You guys know I love mash-ups, and after I shared Mochi Beats, I got a ton of suggestions from you all for other mash-ups to check out. Here are some of my current favorites that I think you should definitely download!

The Knocks (I LOVE “Blackout” and “Mr Boom Boom Jones” so much!)

Lazerproof (When Laura sent this to me, she could barely contain herself, and I understand why. I LOVE La Roux and this is just an entire album of La Roux mash-ups. It’s awesome…”Independent Kill” is my absolute fave!)

DJ Jewboy (I mean, the name alone is enough for me…do I love anything more than Jew boys and mash-ups?! NO, I don’t! He found me on Twitter BTW — another reason I love Twitter! He just added a new album called “Chrome Kippur” that I really love! I’ve been jamming to it all day actually.)

Super Mash Bros

DJ Shylock (This one is seriously overwhelming. Each individual track is like 20 minutes long so you will be entertained for hours!)

Lactose and THC (I actually just bought the second album because the first free one is so good!)

Get downloading — and have a great weekend!

Wowwwwwwwww I don’t know what to say about Mr Boom Boom Jones other than wow. Just, wow. I can’t even react yet because it is too weird but I think you know how much I love Counting Crows and all that is Adam Duritz because, well, he is someone I’d really like to have sex with. I was looking for a new song to include in my 10K playlist for tomorrow and this is perfect. Although so weird! I will get over this weirdness in time.

You need to check out Girltalk if you’re a fan of mashups. He does ’em so well (and is incredible if you ever get a chance to see him live). You can download his newest album free from his myspace page (I know, you can totally judge a little bit that myspace is where you go to get it, but I swear, you’ll find the trip to trashytown (aka myspace) worth it once you hear the insane mashups!)
