Houston…We Don’t Have a Problem

by Rachel on June 27, 2010

Well, it’s been a week since I got on the plane to Houston, and it’s been a really good week: fish tacos and margaritas, Greek pizza and FDAU, BBQ and Firefly vodka, cougars and quesadillas, and Caesar turkey burgers and Ron Burgundy.

The weekend was great too! There was pool time, Target time, fried chicken, spaghetti, “500 Days of Summer,” bacon and eggs, Max’s Wine Dive, “Wet Hot American Summer,” French toast, La Carafe, and too many other good things to even list. Unfortunately, now all that’s left on the itinerary is more gelato (YUP) and then a flight back to Michigan! I’m so sad that my first datecation is over; it was pretty much amazing! I really could not have asked for more from a first date…that lasted a whole week. I really hope he asks me on another datecation — and then maybe we’ll have a third so I can finally sleep with him!!!!!

Anyway (now that I’m laughing too hard at my own joke to even type) I’ll be in transit for the rest of today and back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday — I know I will be!

Lmao I was sitting there going, “She is SO full of shit about a third datecation to sleep with him.”. Ahhhh I am beyond excited for you and all this week brought. Have a safe trip home (not that you can really control it) and a great final date.

Have a safe trip back home. One bonus is it is probably a little cooler in MI with less humidity compartive to texas
