Labor Day Pros and Cons

by Rachel on September 6, 2010

Con: It’s been raining all day, effectively ruining my plans to grill and hang out by the pool.

Pro: I took my mission to eat Labor Day food indoors and made it happen anyway.

Con: After satisfying the basic human need for food to the best of my ability, the other two were next in line. Yes, now all are taken care of but…I think I killed my boyfriend.

Pro: I’ve got plenty more chocolate chip cookie sandwiches to keep me entertained.

Hope everyone else is having a great Labor Day!

Did you use pumpernickel buns? I really wish I could find those around here… I love them but they’re hard to find!

What is in the guts of the cookie sandwich?!

We had a cook-in today too, and let me just tell you, the Oscar Meyer angus hot dogs were ahhhh-mazing. Even if they did result in all-day thirst.
