I am so excited by vajazzling. It’s so insane and ridiculous and the part of me that wants to be covered in tattoos and wear tons of gaudy jewelry and basically decorate myself is going to vajazzle as soon as the opportunity arises. My question for you is this – have you ever done any home waxing kits? What do you recommend? I used to swear by professionals, but my current career status as a volunteer means that if I throw down 50 bucks for waxing, I won’t eat for 2 weeks.

I’m too scared!! I actually stopped waxing after I moved because there is no one I love as much as my woman at home. I switched to a men’s razor (the new Gilette ProFusion) and I’m actually really happy with how well it works. It’s not ideal but it’s just what I have to do for now.

If any other readers know of a good at-home waxing kit, please share!

The best advice I will ever give you both: Watch your Groupons for a laser hair removal deal. Yes, it hurts like hell, but so does waxing. One session takes like 7 minutes and then the pain is over and your skin is so smooth.

How strange that we live in a time where this is an issue.

Oh I am watching my Groupons, believe me. It’s the worst pain ever, but if I can get it for cheaper, I’ll do it.

This is the best idea ever. I know laser hair removal is expensive but it would be an incredible investment. As for vajazzling- never even considered it as a real possibility until today. We’ll have to wait until I’m actually getting some again to see if I try it out.

I had no idea there were Groupons for laser hair removal! I’m going to be watching like a hawk because laser hair removal is pretty much my dream ..

You are awesome. You actually made me not think vajazzling is so stupid anymore, although I still think paying a lot to get it done is a waste of money, an inexpensive at-home kit isn’t so bad!

Thank you for the entertaining post! I don’t think it’s something I would consider, but it made me laugh, just the same.

I’m glad it was way cuter than expected, and I’ll admit that I’ve been too judgy-mcjudgerson about vajazzling. I do think my own boyfriend would just die laughing and/or be really, really confused if I did this.

Really, really ignorant question: is this just done to the upper part of the bikini area, or do you actually do this all around your bits?

Here’s a photo gallery from the website (pixilated, don’t worry).

I did mine off-center though. I’m avant-garde, what can I say?

I used to give myself waxes w/ the Avon at-home waxing kit. Not to toot my own horn but beep beep! The Lover was impressed.

OMG. I love you. That was so ridiculous and awesome. I was so afraid at some point you were going to show us. lol.

I was first introduce to vajazzling by Kathy Griffith, who was quite proud of her vajayjay art on her show. She, too, is obviously a big fan. lol.

Im all about vajazzling. I’ve had a piercing in a certain area down there for a couple of years now and I think it makes it beautiful! I loved what you said about taking the most feminine part of you and making it pretty. WHY NOT?! Plus it gives you a little bounce in your step knowing you have it and no one else knows!

haha yes, it was originally, Hey I’m in college and can do whatever I want phase. Now it’s more of an X-marks the spot and make your gyno think you’re a slut kinda phase.

OMG! I love it! I think one that says “No, to the right…my right… now up…not that far….” would be helpful.

Point of clarification however, based on placement, etc. If the vajazzle has the intended effect…would it cause chafing to any, um, skin…like, if your SO was so overcome with passion that they took a trip down there to get a closer look.
