Meatballs, that is!
Last night I made these super-easy meatballs to eat during my date night with Eric. (And made them in my new apron! I ended up ordering the Bambi one from Etsy and then just bought a $10 seasonal one at Hobby Lobby on Saturday. I love that store, mainly because now Eric and I refer to it as “Hob Lob,” which makes it a whole lot sexier than the middle-aged ladies working there would like it to be.) We ate spaghetti and meatballs while watching “Friday Night Lights” (we started with the first episode on Friday night and are already obsessed!) and “Mad Men.”
It was a fitting dinner, given that I was feeling a bit ballsy after writing a post on Hollaback regarding an article from the November “Marie Claire” that alleges that all the best-known health bloggers have extremely disordered eating habits and approaches to exercise. The whole thing has the blogosphere talking and I was eager to put my thoughts out there. It’s a topic that I’ve thought about quite a bit, but didn’t really have the balls to write about until last night. I’m really proud to have started Hollaback for moments like these, when we need leadership and real discussion in this community. There are already a ton of insightful comments on my post, so go check it out and join in the conversation!
And please go do something today that takes balls. Even if it’s just spaghetti.
