Are you already thinking about your next meal? Yeah…I’m the same way. Right after one is finishing, I’m already thinking about the next.
It’s a bad habit, but at least I’ve stopped applying it to guys.
Anyway, if, like me, you’re just finishing lunch and already wondering what to make for dinner tonight, have no fear! I’ve got your dinner recipe and it is fantastic.
I wanted to cook something on Sunday night that would be good to have for lunch this week, so I went with Mark Bittman’s fried rice recipe in the new Cooking Light. I made one swap: half the cranberries, plus 1/4 cup of almonds, which turned out to be a good choice. (I think it would have been too sweet otherwise.)
How good of a choice was it?
Well…despite my intention of having it for lunch this week, my darling boyfriend enjoyed it so much that he left me without enough leftovers to actually make a sufficient lunch, so yesterday I ended up leaving the sad portion in the office fridge and going to Subway.
